Staff Nurse

? Renders nursing care, supports and restores life and well-being of patients.
? Assesses, plans and implements nursing activities based on identified physical health problems, through case findings, health teaching and counseling.
? Participates in the orientation and training programs for the nursing students and other families.
? Assists in conducting research to improve nursing care.
? Acts as head nurse in the absence of the latter, and when team nursing is in effect.
? Acts as team leader and such assigns and supervises nursing care activities of team workers.
