JOB OVERVIEW

Research Assistant

We are an award-winning integrative and naturopathic medicine focused fertility clinic looking for a full-time research assistant with a minimum of 1-3 years prior experience.

As an organization, our ethos is founded upon constant and never-ending improvement. We believe in delivering high quality, evidence-based treatments, services, and education for our patients and our broader community. Above all, we strive for excellence.

The person we are looking for will work closely with our founder and CEO (an established fertility specialist and author) to gather research and information for original content creation, books, reports, and more.

The ideal candidate is proactive, social media savvy (although training will be provided), creative, and of course a research whiz—who will help us curate useful, authoritative, and educational content to provide value to our audiences across multiple platforms.

Long-term success in this role depends upon you being:

Agile, dynamic, and above all perspicacious;
ULTRA-organized, systematic, and methodical;
Able to search and find what we are looking for amidst the plethora of medical and scientific evidence—better than anyone else in our ---------- short, to be an indispensable member of our team you must also prove you are best friends with PubMed (a candidate who knows their way around MESH terms will have an advantage);
A native English speaker (or have an impeccable grasp of the written English language);
Prolific in coming up with great ideas that once approved you need no supervision to effectively implement and complete;
A scientist (at least at heart) - willing to test and measure everything we do in order to find areas for improvement;
An awesome team player and supportive person;
Absolutely capable of not only delivering high-quality work within agreed upon time frames but able to ensure other team members are on target for delivery of team projects involving the CEO and other departments;
Capable of thinking multiple steps ahead and displaying effective foresight;
Comfortable with writing and researching topics that relate to reproductive health, medicine, and sexuality.

Must have attributes include:

Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills including proficient knowledge of medical ---------- puter literacy including sound knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Flexibility, positive, and dependable.
The ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
A professional manner and appearance.
Bachelor’s degree qualifications (technical or non-technical). Technical degree defined as that related to the medical/scientific field.
