We help real estate agents market homes and commercial buildings for sale. Our professional photographers work closely with agents to compose a variety of interior and exterior photography shots for online listings, social media posts, and printed materials.
We are seeking a highly competent Bookkeeper and tax advisor who is honest, positive, professional, and a team player. This position will be responsible for payroll input, liabilities, certified payrolls to contractors, accounts payable, processing sales and deposits, quarterly reports, office duties, spreadsheets, supporting the team with contract job responsibilities. Work with managers in a supportive role, assist and communicate with Owners regarding business updates and dividend payments, etc., and other job-related duties that will support the entire team.
How you will make an impact:
You have experience with tax reporting in the United States
Your primary job is Bookkeeping 4-6 hours per week, eventually, the job will grow into more hours.
Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Process Accounts Receivable, produce billing, perform cash applications and follow-up on missing payments
Full-cycle Accounts Payable processing
Maintain monthly accounting close
Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Summarize business license and gross receipts
Produce cash flow projections, as needed
Create cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements, and all supporting documents
Provide HR support with onboarding
Highly organized and self-motivated
5+ years of related experience
BA/BS in Accounting or other business-related field preferred, but not required
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Top-notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
General familiarity with QuickBooks
Payroll experience
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Microsoft Word experience highly preferred
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Billing experience preferred
Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Background working with bank reconciliations
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
