Product Designer – Are you creative and enjoy bringing new products to life?

If you have experience or ever wanted to know what it is like to be in charge of product design for a company focused on fun bags and accessories, this is the position for you. If that last sentence didn’t immediately get you excited, then let me save you some time, this position is not for ---------- sentially, you will be in charge of coming up with new product ideas and designs. The product categories are bags (purses, backpacks, duffle bags, etc) and accessories (headbands, bracelets, camera straps, etc). This is a stable long-term position as we have been in business for over 7 years.

We utilize lots of different patterns in our designs and would like your help choosing which designs go into manufacturing. Make sure to write “banana” as your favorite color in the interview form (link found at the end of this description) so that I know you read this.

As far as hours go, this position will start out as part time.

Job Details:

Main functions
• Utilizing certain material availability, research potentially new products to add to our line.
• For approved products, design new products for manufacturing
• For pre-existing products, come up with design improvement ideas
• Prioritize which patterns are pushed to manufacturing
• Potentially assist in supplier outreach for new patterns we can use
