Senior .NET (C#) / SQL Developer - Healthcare Industry

We are looking for a senior-level Software Developer with extensive C# and SQL experience to join our team. You will be working directly under the Chief Information Officer and will be involved in the delivery of our healthcare software products. Much of the work we perform is new development, so the right candidate will have the skills needed to perform full life-cycle software development. This includes participation in requirements gathering, application and database design, system documentation, writing and unit-testing efficient code, and deployment. We are looking for individuals who are innovative, who are good communicators, who display leadership qualities and who are adept problem solvers.

Qualifications:
• 4 - 8 years professional SQL and .Net software development experience (C#)
• Experience in relational database design and programming
• Up-to-date knowledge of MS SQL Server including stored procedures, indexes and triggers
• Experience implementing complex business logic in SQL
• Knowledge of XML, and Web Service technology
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Self-starting, independent thinker and worker
• Excellent analytical skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team

Experience with the following is desirable but not required:
• Health Level 7 (HL7) record formats
• Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) or higher

• Systems analysis, design, clean coding, testing, debugging, installation & support
• Building and modifying custom business applications
• Writing documentation to describe programming development, logic, and coding
• Work as part of a dynamic team on the development of our healthcare software products
• Deliver across product life-cycle, from concept/requirements to final product
