Accounting Manager

U.S. based e-commerce company is seeking an experienced accounting manager to oversee all accounting functions. Qualified candidates should be familiar with U.S. GAAP, have an understanding of cost accounting, have extensive experience utilizing QuickBooks (preferably Enterprise Platinum) and a strong background in Microsoft Excel. The chosen candidate must also be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

The chosen candidate will be responsible all accounting functions, including but not limited to:

• Complete inventory management, to include creating purchase orders, ensuring accurate landed costs, maintaining
accurate inventory values, booking inventory adjustments, and reconciling inventory accounts
• Preparing COGS and production reports
• Managing month end and year end close procedures and ensuring timely completion
• Preparing financial statements
• Compiling data and reporting various KPIs and variances of said KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis
• Various data analysis tasks, primarily designed to minimize company expenditures
• Creating journal entries
• Entering and processing vendor invoices and payments
• Entering and coding banking and credit card transactions
• Entering customer sales receipts as well as invoices and corresponding payments
• Reconciling vendor, customer, bank, and credit card accounts
• Maintaining and organizing company receipts, invoices and organizational information
• Various other administrative tasks that may not be accounting related

The following qualifications are a big plus, but are not required to be considered for the position:

• Experience working with an Amazon, Shopify and/or Etsy e-commerce company
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Advanced Reporting
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Platinum advanced inventory costing function
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Platinum multi-location inventory feature
