Software QA Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibilities include design, create, execute and maintain test plans, cases and scripts related to the software products
• Consult with clients and team members to ensure applications are developed according to specifications
• Provides first and second level support for software applications delivered to customers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
• Experience in software quality assurance and testing with proficiency in automated testing tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong knowledge of software design and implementation, and communications interfaces.
• Must be able to build a comprehensive understanding and testing strategy based on a variety of engineering documents, product characterizations and test results

SKILLS:


• SQL, Oracle, SQL server, Agile methodologies, Scrum
• Advanced Computer software skills
• Automated testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, NUnit, saopUI, Load Runner, QTP
• Proven interpersonal, analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Strong people and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication and self management skills
