We are looking for a web developer with experience in Learning Management System development to improve our current Learndash/Wordpress site (
Goals:
Analyze and report on the current status, performance, and features of the Learndash website and plug ins.
Improve the user experience so that learning is more engaging, impactful, and creates a desire among users to come back for more learning.
Recommend new features that address goals described here and in site features requirements below..
Site features you will be responsible for:
User-Generated Content: Upgrade functionality to increase community engagement, and contributions to forums and message boards.
Learning Path Management: Set-up user self-registration and drip-fed tailored/branched learning
Dynamic Assessments: Create dynamic, formative assessments with questions embedded in videos.
Reporting & Communications: Create reporting to administrators and parents when users complete coursework.
Gamification: Incentivize lesson/course completion and user participation and interaction through game-based mechanics.
BadgeOS Badging/Micro-credentialing: Create BadgeOS plug-in generated badge-based micro-credentials (BadgeOS and Credly integration). Integrate badges with LinkedIn micro-credentials as well as
Social Media Sharing: Create mechanics that encourage users to share with friends (potential new users) through social media and otherwise.
Kid-Friendly: Upgrade site so that it is kid-friendly, fostering engagement of youth in projects; ensure that the site is Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) compliant.
Learner progress reporting in real-time (not static, downloaded excel exports), including number of lessons/courses completed, number of learners that have participated, course ratings, learner feedback, etc.
Knowledge of SCORM and Tin
