Web Developer Needed for Long-term Email Tech Support Role

Propel Commerce is a rapidly growing Shopify app company. Our mission is to help our merchants grow their e-commerce businesses with apps designed to increase their revenue and reduce their costs.

We are looking for a web developer to provide technical support to our customers and help with quality assurance testing of our ---------- pensation: $8USD/hour to $10USD/hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays, 2-4 hours per day
- 2 hours must be worked between the hours of 11am to 4pm EST (12am to 5am PH time) as this is when most of our support tickets come in

Responsibilities:
- Check support tickets at least once a day, Mondays to Fridays, ensuring that all tickets receive a response within one business day
- Review merchant websites and, using Developer Tools in Chrome, identify and correct common support issues
- Log support tickets in a spreadsheet and identify frequently asked questions
- Create canned replies and support articles for frequently asked questions

Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Be available for at least 2 hours during regular business hours in North America
- At least 2 years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
- Proficient in HTML / CSS / Chrome Developer Tools / Javascript / jQuery
- Patient, pleasant disposition (our merchants are usually not technically-savvy)
- Familiar with Freshdesk / Zendesk or similar help desk platform
- Reliable / excellent communication skills
- Good, stable internet connection and power
