JOB OVERVIEW

I run a cold email lead generation business that gets digital marketing agencies on the phone with their ideal clients.
( ---------- )

I get these agencies on the phone with their ideal clients by cold emailing them.

Every cold email I send, has to be HIGHLY personalized.

You are going to be creating these personalized lines, helping scale the business , manage outreach and exceed client expectations.

How do we write first lines? It's very simple.

I am going to give you a sheet of leads/prospects , its going to have their company name, domain, email address, name and linkedin.

You are going to research the prospect on linkedin, google, their website, instagram, facebook, twitter, EVERYWHERE.

If you cant find any good information to compliment them on their linkedin (will happen often)

type in google:
- {persons name + company name}
- {persons name + company name + podcast}
- {persons name + instagram }
- {persons name + facebook}
- {persons name + twitter}
- "the about us" page on their website
look everywhere.

I recommend spending 10-15 minutes per prospect until you find REALLY GOOD information to compliment them on.

Find information that they would have an emotional connection with, and write the first line in a way that compliments them and shows that you did EXCELLENT research on them. {THIS IS SO IMPORTANT: videos on how to do this are at bottom}

How long should the first line be? - usually 1-2 sentences.

Perfect criteria for first lines?

1st lines must:

-Read naturally in Perfect English (every time you write a first line, read it out loud. if it sounds too formal or like a robot, change words up so it sounds like a natural conversation)

-Must NOT be written in formal language

-Must be SO personalized that you could not send it to anybody else in the world

(use your personality when writing first lines, #1 rule is to make sure you don't sound automated)

----------

here is a video of TERRIBLE first lines that if you do, you will be fired
----------

The deeper you do research = the better the first lines will be

The more the lines sound like a natural conversation = the better they will convert

-
When you send me your application for this job, please send me 1st lines for these 2 people:

--> I will be hiring 1-2 people for this job.

I look forward to reading your lines.

*again every time you write a first line, READ IT OUT LOUD.
( think of it like you are saying the first line face-to-face to the prospect. )
