Lead generator/ Telephone prospector

All Campus Security (ACS) is looking for a Lead Generator / Prospector / Appointment Setter to work with our team focused on physical security. ACS is a reseller / installer of video surveillance, door access control, fire alarms, intrusion, and structured cabling. The main goal is to penetrate various markets that will have potential for new or upgraded security equipment. You will be offering ACS’ services by phone calls, emails and appointment setting. Lead Generator / Prospector / Appointment Setter -
Responsibilities:
• Work with the ACS inside sales team to gather knowledge and strategy for approaching prospects.
• Participate in forming marketing agendas including email blasts and phone call campaigns.
• Initiate conversations over the phone with scripted guidance and scripted follow-up emails.
• Utilize a calendar tool to set follow-ups/meetings with account managers.
• Track prospects using a spread sheet or CRM tool.
• Focus on learning ACS’s product mix.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with outbound and inbound sales using a phone and email
• Ability to work with a small company with constant changes due to growth. This includes a possibility of job description changes
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to make phone calls from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central Standard Time
• Well organized and efficient
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to work with limited supervision
Preferred Qualifications
• Technology and/or security minded
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field preferred. Work experience may also be sufficient without a degree.
