Medical Billing Specialist

Looking for a medical billing specialist for busy acupuncture clinic.

We are needing a medical billing assistant that is confidential, honest, trustworthy, and a good communicator. Prior experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include calling insurance companies to check policy benefits and check on claims. To start, this job will only be 5 hours per week with handling outstanding insurance claims and checking insurance policies and deductibles for the new year. Please have prior experience in this area as dealing with insurance companies can be very difficult, especially with acupuncture benefits we must call to check exclusions, etc. Once we have established a good working relationship we can build on your duties and increase your hours with more work based on your skill set and desire to learn more.

This is a long term position, please do not apply if you are looking for temporary work, or are looking for full time work. $4.00-$6.00 US dollars per hour to start depending on experience. No cell phone use during time of work and kindness to co-workers and patients at all times is mandatory.
