YouTube Video Editor

The Amanda Vang Real Estate team is looking for a video editor to help produce videos for our YouTube channel, Amanda Vang Real Estate ( ---------- /amandavangrealestate). We mainly produce two different types of videos, tour videos and educational videos. Please watch some of our videos to get a feel for the style we are looking for.

As you can see, the videos have a completely different feel. The tours are structured more formally whereas the educational videos feature many popups, transition graphics, and B-rolls to keep the material fun and engaging. We are hoping to have someone able to seamlessly transition between the different styles of video editing and produce content in line with our current brand.

Job Description:
The video editor will be given content and asked to compile it into 5-8 minute videos for YouTube, depending on what is given. Please note audio and visual will be given separately, so it will be necessary to be comfortable syncing audio with visual. We subscribe to an online video editing software called WeVideo that is able to provide additional graphics, B-rolls, sounds, etc. that you will be able to utilize if you desire to help edit the educational videos.

Videos should be in line with our brand and keep the viewer engaged so that our YouTube audience will want to watch the entire video.

Additionally we will need you to further edit each YouTube video into 1-2 minute teaser formatted for posting on Instagram.

Skill Requirements:
Fluent English is a MUST for this position. We need to be able to communicate concepts to you and have you accurately implement them.

Must have several years of video editing experience and be able to use advanced editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, but we are flexible in terms of what software you are comfortable with as long as you are able to produce the high quality videos and graphics we expect. Reminder that we do have a subscription to WeVideo if you would like to use that for editing.

Hours commitment:
We are flexible in terms of how many hours you work, but we intend to pay per video to start. We expect you to be able to produce a minimum of 3 videos per week, meaning it has been edited, reviewed by us, and ready to deliver a final cut.

Pay:
Part-time - $3 per hour
Or per video - $10

The role can grow into a full time position in ~six months depending on the content you produce and your turnaround time.
