Podcast: Founders Time Podcast
Virtual Assistant Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Writing introductions
Writing the introductions for guests, each introduction is 2 or 3 short paragraphs, total.
Find the guest's website or information about them online
Write an introduction according to a template I've created
Audio Management and Editing:
Edit podcast audio in Audacity
Listen and editing raw audio word for word for podcasts and eliminate all mistakes, repetitions, long pauses, interruptions, unwanted sounds such as "Ums" and "Ahs" stumbles, and awkward long pauses, you know, like, etc.
Adding Intro's, Outro's and Sponsored Messages
Mixing and Mastering (Noise Reduction and Audio Cleaning)
Level/balance audio
Volume matching for even sounding playback
Full ID3 and Artwork Tagging to ensure podcast displays correctly in all platforms
Joining multiple tracks, add Intro and Outro music and voice-overs, and advertisements (when ads are required).
Assessing and fixing audio technical issues (such as syncing issues, removing background noise, trimming audio files and putting them together in a certain sequence, etc.)
Downloading the raw video and merging/syncing it with our audio
Editing the clips based on a very simple zoom+cut format we have that can be seen here:
This position will require listening to a raw audio of approximately 30 to 60 minutes and turning around the show notes and corresponding blog post summary within a 2 to 5 hour time frame.

Guest Communication Templates
Write guest research notes in Google Docs (links to articles, podcasts, videos, social profiles, etc.)

Show notes/blog post for the podcast episode – intro, key discussion points, next steps and important links
Optimize existing content (do podcasts need changed image, optimized titles, show notes).
Podcast Production Management:
Upload show to My Host
Edit podcasts, include our standard pre-recorded podcast intro, outro and commercials, upload podcats to Podbean
Producing final edited mp3 files and upload to the required file server.
Publish to media host, our website, and/or Dropbox
Upload episode to Anchor.fm (post-approval)
Distribute episodes to podcast platforms and help gain guest interviews for the podcast.
Publish podcast episodes on Libsyn and Podbean including show notes
Publish the show notes, and the podcast episode player and artwork onto the relevant podcast page on the Founders Time Shopify website.
We need someone with experience to come up with ideas for the show, someone that is a visionary. You will write show outlines with references links to help guide the host in preparation. You will manage the production schedule, and strategize with Marketing team how to promote the show.
MP4 files edited for a TV platform.
Video Editor is tasked with taking the raw footage shot by Founders Time and turning it into the final product.
Create audio loops put in the background where necessary, with occasionally “2-3s audio cues” throughout to break up the show
Create a SNIPPET or two would be created from the show for posting on Instagram, with subtitles.
Social Media:
Edit Veed audio transcriptions to match audio
Create Veed.io clips of the podcast
Create podcast graphics from templates in Canva to include in Veed clips
Create different video sizes for the different social platforms
Create social media graphics in Canva for different social platforms
Write copy for the social posts for Instagram,

Analytics Tracking and Reporting
Monitor podcast metrics, like the number of downloads, listener demographics, and listening times, to make improvements to how the podcast is structured and produced. These analytics may need to be shared with other team members or sponsors and the producer is responsible for providing these reports.
