The Junior Interior Designer will be responsible for providing administrative and design support to the Designer. As the first point of contact for customers; this person will respond to all phone/email inquiries; client inquiries and support the firm by completing both administrative and design related tasks. The individual will also be responsible for social media, website inquires, assisting with client presentations and sourcing.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled in an Interior Design Program.
• Current knowledge of trends in interior design and/or fashion is a must.
• Proficient skills in Photoshop, MS Office & Power point are required. AutoCAD, Revit or room-planner software is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills are essential to success.
• Self motivated! As this is a virtual role and will be project based., highly motivated, pro-active, style focused, organized, and has a go-getter attitude
• Social Media proficient and knowledge of marketing on social media.
• Actively seek to improve processes; procedural and technologically to improve customer experience and grow the business.
• Passionate/enthusiastic about the interior design industry, your work, and exude that passion in all who encounter you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Admin/Project Management:
• Responsible for being the first point-of-contact for all new client inquires. Screen and respond to inquiries.
• Act as the point of contact between the designer and clients/contractors.
• Assist with administrative work, client and vendor communication, onsite project management, surveys of space, offering support with the creation of design concepts and presentation boards, sourcing fabrics/furniture/materials/hardware, coordinating with vendors, placing and tracking orders, and running errands as needed.

• Assist in preparing concept, elevations in AutoCAD, schedule organization, Tracking inventory, budgets, and deliveries, general organization and record keeping.
• Participate in interior design functions as needed including, but not limited to: design assistance including design concept/mood board, accompanying designer on in-home consultations and installation.
• Source furnishings and decor from a wide variety of retail, trade and wholesale vendors.
