Children's Book Editor Needed!

This job is a UNICORN for someone looking to write and edit 500 to 1,000-word children’s picture books for a living! And we’re looking for a UNICORN of an editor to fill this dream job!

If your English is flawless, you have experience as both a developmental editor and a line editor, you frickin’ love children and children’s books of all kinds (the good ones, haha), and you’re ready to learn and grow quickly with a fast-growing company, you could be our one-horned, magical, rainbow-riding pony!

While some of the stories that authors submit to us are clever and clean and can be edited in an hour, we also need someone who can take a mess of a story by a total amateur, restructure, reimagine, and even rewrite it completely if necessary, and then line edit and proofread the thing to 100% perfection as well.

Also, when time allows, we want you writing stories of your own and working on your craft, as well as reading the bestsellers and really becoming a COMPLETE children’s book ---------- ’s a tough job that only someone who is really smart and driven will be able to handle, but if this is you, then you’re going to have an amazing career in children’s picture books that’s both lucrative and fun!

Pay starts at $500/month (we’re averaging 6-7 books per month), and will quickly scale up to more than $1,000/month once we’re doing 15+ projects per month (est. 6-18 months).
