Job Summary:??
The Email Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assembling appealing and action-inspiring emails that not only highlight the services offered, but concisely educates business owners on items they do not know. The Email Marketing Coordinator is a communicative member of the marketing team who works with the marketing writer, graphic designer, and public relations coordinator to ensure the look and feel of emails accomplishes the core goals of the department.
Specific Requirements of Role:
Setup and schedule for release email campaigns autonomously?from the pre-defined?schedule?(an email to go out on Monday and Thursday each week)
Email content should be aligned with templates provided by the public relations coordinator, EMC is responsible for taking text written for an email in dropbox, ensure the correct formatting and proofreading in Hatchbuck that aligns with brand identity. Emails should be scheduled and formatted for review by the PRC at least a week prior to their release (this should include a test of the Hatchbuck system)
Work with?PRC?in?implementing?larger?strategic?campaigns?including funnel-based tags to push prospects to a higher value in a funnel (include at least one funnel item/ CTA at the end of each email)
Understanding of?the role???email plays in the overall strategy of larger campaigns?
Watch benchmark stats (open rate, click rate,?unsubscribe/spam?markings) and contributes solutions to changing industry trends of increasing email open rate, increasing number of email subscribers, and click-through action from each individual email (Strategy and templates to be re-evaluated which monthly KPI reporting)
Communicate with PRC any needs for getting the job accomplished including timeliness of other team members, quality and correctness of content provided (ongoing communication)
Research and make recommendations for solutions to needs such as software/apps/technologies?(ongoing research to be reported at each monthly marketing meeting)
