VA needed to help grow and maintain a solo practitioner law firm. The following is a list of the duties:
Implementing efficient procedures and processes (document generation, intake procedures, data entry, etc.)
Drafting letters of correspondence for clients, judges, and others.
Extensive preparation of legal documents.
Exhaustive legal research pertaining to ongoing suits and cases - as well as drafting memorandums of law and case law packages to present in Court.
Prepare monthly billings for lawyers.
Create presentations for lawyers.
Extensive trial preparation, writing stipulations, and briefs.
Maintenance of social media platforms (including posting periodic articles)
Maintain the law firm's website with routinely drafting blog posts and content.
Must have:
Great attention to detail
A good command of the English language and excellent writing skills.
Well-versed with the basics of the Internet and how to maintain websites and social media platforms
An expert in the use of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and Power point
Fast typing speed
Excellent time management
Thorough understanding of law office processes and procedures
Client engagement skills
Knowledge of Florida law and experience in working on family law, criminal defense, and personal injury cases is highly recommended.
