Part Time Bookkeeper

A Position is available for a part time bookkeeper for an Australian business in the Restaurant Equipment Industry.

About Us

---------- is an online business which sells Commercial Catering Equipment and restaurant appliances for many industries in Australia and New Zealand including Restaurants & Cafes, Education, Aged Care, Medical and Building.

We supply commercial fridges, cooking equipment, coffee machines, etc and sell offline, on our website and on several marketplaces such as eBay, Catch etc. Our business is made up of a small team of multi talented sales and IT professionals (mainly located in the Philippines).

About the Role

We have an immediate opportunity for a part-time bookkeeper, to help keeping all records up to date and reconciled.

On a weekly basis, you will be responsible for:

· Reconciling all bank, credit card, PayPal and other accounts
· Ensuring supplier bills and cn's are kept up to date
· Ensuring customer invoices and cn's are kept up to date
· Reconciling marketplace payments, refunds and statements
· Preparing supplier statements for payments
· Following up overdue payments internally with account managers
· Updating order statuses on the order processing portal
· Preparing rebate invoices each month for staff and suppliers

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong attention to detail and and experience in similar fast-paced businesses. You will have the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively, and be willing to learn and support the daily activities of the business to support our current ---------- pending on how effective you are in the role, we will be happy to look at a full time position after a few months.
