The Opportunity
AppiGo is a thriving tech startup in the ecommerce space in Philippines and we’re looking for an ambitious Sales Development Executive to join our growing team. As the Sales Development Representative, you will be focused on expanding our customer portfolio.
About appiGo
AppiGo is a rapidly growing tech company that allows merchants to set up their own ecom- merce webstore with payment gateway facility and delivery. This ecommerce webstore allows merchants to be visible to customers at all times, stand out from the competition and cultivate customer loyalty.
Duties and Responsibilities;
Develop effective engagement with target merchants ( restaurants / small & medium businesses ) and close deals using strategies eg: mail, cold call campaigns , door-to-door.
Research new accounts and create new business leads to set up appointments on behalf of Account Managers
Manage the day to day relationships with existing customer base and support new
business development initiatives
Accurately maintain and expand the database prospects in CRM system
Research and identify key decision makers to target within corporations and firms using
CRM, Internet and Social media
Understanding the product and effectively communicating the features to prospects
Retain current designated customer base by providing exceptional service and
developing professional relationships.
Be a local market expert in developing business and helping merchants to grow their business while improving your skills and abilities through continuous training.
Required Skills and Experience;
At least 1 – 2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, upselling and similar areas is needed for this position
Highly preferred: Interest for or good understanding of e-commerce & food market
Very open to extensive fieldwork and travel opportunities
Excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice and a can build rapport with customers/client
Ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers/client
Have a passion towards sales and consultative selling
Good Digital Marketing knowledge
Has good training skills and is able to demon’s and train customers
Academic background in Tech, Business or Marketing would be an advantage
