Video Script Writer

Looking for a talented and fast writer to be part of an exciting new project we're developing.

We're creating a weekly short video update show focused on delivering the latest news in video marketing and social media.

We'll send you a list of 5 news articles or press releases. You'll rewrite the key points of the news story or release into a ---------- word update (so about ---------- words total per episode). This must be your original work and not plagiarize from any other articles.

This will be read out loud so format should be more conversational / spoken word rather than a traditional written article.

Our plan is to start with three episodes a week, so pay is $25 per episode (3x week) with room to expand.

One key item of importance is you must deliver by the set deadline. We're based in the US West coast, so you'll receive the articles by 8PM PST and you'll need to deliver the script by 8AM PST the following morning (12 hour turnaround).

When applying, please include any links to video or audio recordings of scripts you have written. If you don't have any available, please send a link to original blogs or articles you've written.

Basic understanding of SEO writing and focus keywords is a plus (please note any courses you may have taken).

Articles will be about social media and video marketing and production, so a basic understanding of those topics is a plus.

If we think you might be a good fit you'll be asked to do a short writing test (you will be paid for your time).
