Business Intelligence Data & Reporting Analyst

As the Business Intelligence Data & Reporting Analyst, you will build management reports and dashboards, design data models, and identify opportunities to use data and analytics to improve operational performance.

About the role

- Power BI design, development, and administration
- Analyze, design, and build datasets, data models, dashboards, and reports
- Build dashboards, reports, and cubes using SQL, Power BI, or other visualization tools
- Provide programming and ETL expertise to support the data warehouse strategy
- Develop and support complex financial reports and SQL stored procedures
- Support data governance, data cleansing, and data quality initiatives
- Connect data sources, import, and transform data for Business Intelligence
- Ensure architecture is aligned to best practices and fit for purpose

To be successful in this role, you should have

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a BI Data and Reporting Analyst using Microsoft BI stack
- Extensive experience using the following software/tools
> Microsoft Power BI
> Microsoft Technology Stack specifically SQL server and Azure cloud tools
> Microsoft BI stack (e.g., SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
- Experience in the following:
> Data modeling
> Data quality and master data management
> Analyzing, designing, and building datasets
> Developing and maintaining relevant documentation such as detailed designs, technical configuration documents, and build guides
- Proven ability to engage and work with a diverse range of stakeholders including working collaboratively as part of an agile, multidisciplinary team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

To go to the front of the queue you will also have:

- Understanding of the importance of data integrity from a regulatory compliance perspective
- Exposure to cloud products (Azure)
- Knowledge of code automation
- Data visualization for dashboards
- Creative flair in reporting, dashboarding, and working with ERP or Financial systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central
- Exposure to retail industry
