UX Engineer

As a UXE you'll help us deliver bespoke, functional prototypes to our clients and contribute your technical know-how to allow us work more efficiently. An eye for detail is essential as you develop UI and foundational frameworks. We work with the best tech companies in the world to help plug the gaps they have when it comes to validating their product hypotheses.

### What you'll do

- Translate visual designs into functional user-facing prototypes to aid the design process and assist in user research
- Collaborate with team members on evolving our shared processes and tooling.
- Collaborate daily with UX designers, researchers, engineering, and product management to create industry-leading products for our users.
- Build / extend tools to empower a design team.
- Explore product concepts to find promising directions that address both human and business needs.
- Work remotely, manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Unearth issues and edge cases before Engineering encounters them. Advise on UI implementation best practices.

### Who you are

- You have a relevant degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development, front-end engineering or high fidelity prototyping.
- You have a strong fundamentals of modern web / app technologies and passionate about engineering best practices . We use Javascript, React, React Native, Firestore, Firebase app distribution to create high fidelity prototypes
- You have experience working with third-party APIs and internal APIs to create richer prototype experiences .
- You have experience building complex libraries that can be used by multiple teams.
- You have experience translating motion design into code.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and can communicate your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You are eager to learn and evangelise new technologies.
