JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Digital Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the site design, development and optimization team’s activities and deliverables, ensuring all are completed on time and on budget, and align to the client’s strategic business goals. The Digital Project Manager is responsible for interfacing with clients and being the liaison between the client and internal delivery team to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Must be available to work U.S. or Pacific Standard Time zone, M-F 8am-6pm PST. (Could occasionally require some work on weekends or evenings.)
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Shopify.com experience either managing, building or editing stores.
- Client Communication: strong, professional communication skills with US based clients
- Critical Thinking: Ability to think beyond the tasks required to ensure projects are successful
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Fluent (speaking and written) in English.
- Provide your own computer and fast, reliable internet access.
- 2-5 years relevant project management experience, preferably in the execution and management of digital creative and technology projects
- 2-5 years ecommerce experience on the Shopify Platform
- Remote work experience (being part of a remote team)
- Experience managing a remote team of designers and developers
- Extreme attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate those details to the team and client.
- Not afraid to speak up and bring up sensitive issues to upper level management.
- Extreme to the point of obsession about organization.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with strategists, UX/UI designers, developers, quality assurance analysts, and other disciplines.
- Experience leveraging project tools like Asana, Invision, Flow, Basecamp, Trello, Slack, Google Suite and Gantt charts.
- Familiar with advanced project management practices like agile, scrum, waterfall or other experience within a digital agency environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work with our ecommerce site design, development and optimization team to design, build, launch, manage Shopify, Shopify Plus and BigCommerce stores.
- Manage multiple (10+) site design, development and optimization projects concurrently.
- Turn client requests into a detailed set of requirements for the design and development team. Help fill gaps by asking specific questions to the client and/or senior project manager.
- Collect and organize all information or assets needed from the client for our design and development team to execute a project.
- Help configure and set up products, collections, store settings, images, copy/text, etc in Shopify stores for clients.
- Serve as the main day-to-day point of contact for the client and manage internal and external communications via
Responsible for the daily progress on projects. Ensure the designer and developer on every project is making the progress needed to keep projects on time and on budget.
- Ability to extrapolate accurate project details from multiple sources to arrive at an appropriate course of action.
Ultimately responsible for ensuring that final deliverables meet all project goals and requirements.
- Communicate with the SENIOR project manager daily. Escalate any issues that require sensitive client communications or strategy conversations with the client.
- Act as the client’s champion, pushing for excellence, extreme client satisfaction, and alignment with the client’s business goals.
- Serve as the liaison between client and delivery team to communicate client goals and objectives in the form of actionable tasks and deliverables.
- Create timelines and facilitate backlog task management, sprint planning, and weekly/daily updates from the team.
