HTML/CSS Developer

We are an E-commerce development company specialized in Magento platform and we are looking for an HTML/CSS developer who use coding languages to create the visual appearance of websites.
The candidate must have good experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Our candidate will collaborate with web designers and back-end developers. Because this is a demanding job, candidates must be able to effectively handle stress.
Well-organized people with strong time management skills and technical aptitude are great candidates for this role.
The candidate must willing to work in an evening night shift homebased.

HTML/CSS Developer Duties and Responsibilities

*Code Websites
HTML/CSS developers embed document tags in web pages to produce their visual appearance, present images, and allow linking to other web pages.

*Ensure Cross-Platform Functionality
Websites are accessed with a variety of devices – from desktop computers to smartphones – and a range of browsers, such as Chrome and Safari. A key task for HTML developers is to ensure that the websites they create are functional with these different platforms.

*Meet Publication Deadline
Companies and clients have a time frame in which they want to launch and have their website “go live.” It is the HTML developer’s responsibility to complete their project in a timely manner so that this deadline is met.

*Collaborate with Designers and Backend Developers
HTML developers work with website designers and backend developers to create new websites or update existing ones. The website designer creates the plan for how the site is going to look and function, and the HTML/CSS developer takes their plan and brings it to life with the proper coding to give it the aesthetics and functionality requested.

*Provide Support to Website Users
When issues arise in the use of the website, such as inability to access the site or nonfunctioning links, it is the responsibility of the HTML developer to offer technical support and help resolve the problem.

*Test Websites
Clients want their customers and other users to able to access and use their website with ease. HTML developers test the site’s background code to ensure this happens, checking for and fixing any problems that might prevent this.

HTML/CSS Developer Skills and Qualifications

HTML developers have a visual designer’s sensibilities with the technical skills to make their web designs a reality. They may have a computer science degree or be self-taught – either way, they should have a portfolio of work that demonstrates their skills. Employers also look for the following skills:
