- Understand English very well, edit out all bad takes and make tight cuts to ensure the videos flow well
- create and add dynamic instructional text graphics with sound effects highlighting points and a good intro and outtro sequence w/ music (see video links below for examples of how to do this! You can either copy existing intro video or get creative and build a new one - bonus point if you build a new one that's better than my existing one :)
- Recognize opportunities to add quality B-roll footage from stock footage sites (I have memberships to Storyblocks and ArtGrid you will be able to use if hired for the position). Big bonus if you can add jokes/humor in some of your b-roll, as humor is a major element of my style (see video links below for examples)
- sync and edit audio and video files (I record video in 4k in my Canon 90D DSLR and record stereo audio in .wave using Rode NTG-1 shotgun condenser mic)
- Select and add in complimentary background music if requested (not currently doing this) - but could be cool as a fade in as I
Examples of my previous produced videos (to give you an idea of my style - I want to keep my new videos similar to this, but am open to new style ideas and improvements!)
