Full-Time Inventory Accountant (Quickbooks Online)

We need a full-time accountant to implement and maintain process improvements for a direct to consumer product company.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Inventory accounting – We have 3 main product lines and need to make sure inventory levels are properly reflected in our monthly financials.
- COGS accounting – Obviously related, but our COGS often has assemblies and bundles that need to be tracked.
- Sales tax tracking and filing - These are usually simple reports but need to be made on a monthly basis.
- Amazon FBA accounting – Amazon and Shopify are our two primary channels. These entries aren’t overly complicated based on Amazon statements, but if you have any experience with Amazon FBA – you may be able to share best practices with us.
- Analysis – We’d want you to review variances to standard and inventory levels to recommend inventory levels.
- A/P – We receive invoices and scan them. We need A/P support to help through 2 payments per month.

Other accounting duties. You’ll be working with a lead accountant based in the Philippines and may be expected to help with:
- Bank reconciliations - monthly bank reconciliations are required.
- 1099s - Accountant will assist in the collection of data and preparation for annual 1099s.
- Monthly closing - Accountant will close the books upon reconciliation and all entries made within 7 days of the month-end.
- Monthly reporting - Accountant will distribute monthly reports (Balance Sheet / Income Statements / A/R / Segment Reporting).
