JOB OVERVIEW

Hey,

I'm hiring a video editor to edit all my YouTube videos.

Videos will be around productivity and performance.

You can learn more about the project here: ----------

Right now I'm doing all the editing myself with Final Cut Pro. I followed Ali Abdaal's course on Skillshare ( ---------- ) because that's the sort of video I want to publish.

For reference on the type of editing I'm looking for:

- ----------
- ----------
- ----------
- ----------

I record on a Sony a6000 and Yeti Pro (with the audio recorded on Camtasia).

Here's what I expect you to do:

- Sync External Audio with Video
- Stellar A-Cut cuts
- B-Cut: adding generators, basic titles, lower thirds, images, iPhone screen recordings, desktop screen recordings, B-roll (own or stock: I use story blocks now but want to build a library of own b-rolls), timestamps, animated handwriting
- Sound: background music (I use Epidemic sound and extend a song with Audition remix feature), sound effects to b-cuts, adding limiter and EQ
- C-Cut: color grading and color correction

Each video is anywhere between 8-15 min. I'll upload the raw footage and audio to Google Drive. I expect to get the final version back ready to be published to YouTube.

Right now, I do around 1h30-2h per video that ends up being 8-15 min. With time, I'll get better and make your job easier on edit.

Because I'm scripting+recording+editing, I can do 1 and sometimes 2 videos per week. By finding an awesome editor, I'm confident I can up my game to 2-3 videos per week. You would be doing all the editing.

I also record courses and masterclasses from time to time. While these require less editing than YouTube videos, you'd also be doing ---------- would also be great if you could provide suggestions on what to improve, new things for editing, etc. I want to find someone to belong to the team rather than someone who just does editing. You're basically my YouTube "manager".

It's important that you care about productivity and my project. Something that I've learned hiring so many people is that it does make a difference when someone is invested in working with me because they like the project or the niche.

So if you're the one, please reply to all questions when sending your application. Also add a little bit about yourself so I can get to know you better.

Thanks so much.

I look forward to working together.

Dan
