Java IT Architect I - 2-3 years work experience

An IT Architect designs and supervises the construction of technology-based solutions. IT Architects provide technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level. Additionally, this individual will gain organizational commitment for all systems and software plans, as well as evaluate and select technologies required to complete those plans.
This person will also receive technical direction from the Platform Lead Architect and will mentor junior team members in their development efforts.

Relevant certification in respective application development discipline (Microsoft Certification Application Developer, Oracle’s Java & Middleware category or equivalent)
Full life-cycle management of Java Server Page (JSP) Tag Libraries.
Configuring, development within, and running with one or more Java Web Application Servers to include Apache Tomcat, Resin, Oracle WebLogic, or IBM WebSphere.
Experience with version control systems to include either Subversion or Concurrent Version System (CVS).
Development experience with Java Platform, Standard Edition (SE) interfaces.
