Copywriter (Social Media, Blogs and Web Content) Needed To Join Our Team

Hi there!

We are Slater Strategies and have been around for over a decade now providing digital marketing services to our clients and we are looking for someone to join our growing family.

We are looking for a creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for our clients websites, blogs, email campaigns and social media. We’ll need you to be able to take clients current content and redo it as needed, or take a client's industry and create all of their content from scratch.

Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like you to apply. When you apply please make the subject line “FLAMINGO” to be considered.

Submit up to three writing samples, so we can get an idea of your best work. Feel free to include links to your content or portfolio in your application.

When you apply please also include one custom paragraph that you have written about a Moose and a Bear who were best friends. We just want to see your creativity and quality of work and know that it was created for this.

Responsibilities:
- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
- Take copywriting ideas and create something from nothing
- Collaborate with the team on marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns, landing pages, websites, social media, etc)
- Conduct high-quality research that’s needed for your writing
- Edit and proofread copy as needed
- Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
- Source images and other content

Requirements
- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience with SEO
- Strong research skills
- Creativity
- Collaborative spirit
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
