Who we are!

Workoid is a fully distributed outsourcing company that is incorporated in HK. We are not your average outsourcing company with an ocean of 120x60 cubicles, in fact we don’t have a single cubicle, we don’t even have an office. Workoid consist solely of remote workers. What this means is that our staff work from a mixture of coffee shops, co-working spaces and home offices and collaborate with their teammates and connect in the cloud through our provided setup, which consist of a Macbook and access to our online tools such as Asana, Slack, Gmail through which we carry out work for our clients.

What is a Workoid?

A Workoid is a smart creative in his or her 20s or 30s that uses modern technology to assist with his/her work. This means outsourcing repetitive tasks to a script and utilizing software to do something one couldn’t do on your own.

Workoid is a rapid growing company with a strong presence in several countries and is rapidly emerging in the Philippines. We are looking to hire a Creative Mobile Designer to support one of our clients design needs. He/She will be working on the design aspects of our client’s successful games and will be designing new and fun games that will cater to more than 1 million users.

REQUIREMENTS

The Role - Mobile Game Designer

We are looking for a highly talented and enthusiastic individual specializing in the field of mobile game design. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for games, an appetite for new challenges and the ability to handle changes in product direction.

You must possess the following:

Minimum of 3 years experience as a designer of which 1 year is mobile gaming.
Detail-oriented and passionate for game design.
Great verbal, visual, written communication skills with the ability to produce top-quality design documents, wireframes, and feature specifications.
Familiar with user testing methodologies
Up-to-date knowledge of current online, social, and mobile game best practices.
Your day to day:

Designing casual games aimed at a massive and diverse audience
Create cool animations and fun gameplay mechanics that drive real social engagement
Ensure a clean design and great user experience
Implement UIs/Features
Solve problems creatively on a daily basis
