ANDROID DEVELOPER

We are looking for an Android Developer passionate about creating easy-to-use apps for businesses. We need this developer to be hungry when it comes to providing the best user experience. We are constantly evaluating new technologies and solutions for our products so you should be able to learn quickly, be flexible, and take risks. We need someone who would think as the product owner, as the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse client requirements and provide expert evaluation and recommendations
• Provide expert advise regarding User Experience.
• Architect, design and implement new features for our mobile applications.
• Work with product managers, designers, developers, testers, and end-users to deliver innovative mobile apps for Android phones and tablets.
• Quickly develop app prototypes to test new ideas
• Analyse, optimize and debug existing code.

Technical Requirements:
• Mastery of Android Design Principles and Google Material Design
• Must have expertise in OOP/MVC, Java and Git/Github.
• Must be comfortable with Android design patterns, oAuth, API design and consumption, Data Modeling, SQL, REST/JSON, Credentials and Provisioning, Unit tests, Continuous Integration
• Must be comfortable working around mobile network latency, reliability, and security issues, offline sync.
• Familiarity with Linux, AWS, MongoDB, NodeJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Laravel, Parse, Google APIs, Salesforce is a plus.

Non-Technical Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English)
• Must have excellent design sense/aesthetics.
• Must be able to articulate ideas, expectations, caveats in a concise and organized way.
• Excellent scheduling and prioritization skills.
• Excellent attention to detail!
