The Technical Consultant is responsible for assuming the role of subject matter expert in product development, complex functionalities and development research specific to Salesforce to support the CRM Projects of the IPC CRM Professional Services Team
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports directly to Head of the Professional Services for Salesforce-related activities
• Supports the sales team during the technical pre-sales discussion
• Conducts Research and Development for customized products and branding for Salesforce.com solutions
• Handles advanced requirements of CRM project implementations
• Ensures successful implementation of Salesforce at the clients’ business environment
• Provides technical support for Salesforce users within IP-Converge.
• Attends regular meetings to ensure that all product, services and client-related activities and concerns are raised and discussed for appropriate action
• Manages the Associate Developer’s tasks and deliverables.
Skills Set Required:
1. Familiar with Salesforce Administration (plus but not required)
2. Force developer certified (plus but not required)
3. Solid foundation with the following programming concepts:
a. OOP
b. XML parsing
c. Application referencing
d. File manipulation (for upload parsing)
e. Good with PL-SQL or equivalent Database Concepts
i. Performing SQL queries
ii. Data Manipulation Language (DML)
iii. Stored Procedures
iv. Database Triggers
4. Well versed with the following web technologies:
a. AJAX or Comet or equivalent
b. HTML/DHTML/XHTML
c. XML
d. SOAP/REST/Web Services
e. JavaScript
f. WSDL
5. Programming Languages:
a. C#/.NET/VB.NET
b. C/C++/C# equivalent
c. Java (J2SE/J2EE or equivalent)
d. PHP or equivalent
e. JavaScript/ECMAScript or equivalent
