Accountant Job Summary
We are looking for an Accountant who can work remotely and has the ability to efficiently complete all tasks with minimal direct oversight. Your primary duties would include recording all transactions, reconciling accounts, and creating financial reports to share with members of management. You’ll also be tasked with ensuring we remain compliant with all tax laws and regulations in addition to making sure all necessary accounting procedures are followed. When possible, you will also be asked to make recommendations on how the company can reduce costs, build revenues and boost profits.

Study financial operations and make best-practice recommendations for management.
Maintain and organize financial
Prepare tax returns, determine taxes owed and make sure taxes are fully paid and paid on time.
Explain your findings, when necessary, with written reports and during meetings.
Record day-to-day monetary transactions, including purchases and incoming payments
Process accounts receivable
Issue financial statements, including bills and receipts
Maintain a cordial relationship with clients
Manage payroll
Follow up on delinquent accounts and ensure that receivables are collected in a timely manner
Create quarterly financial reports and submit them to the management
Ensures client confidentiality by keeping financial information secure
Achieves individual and team goals by contributing to effort as needed
Accountant Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field
? Knowledge of the most recent tax laws and regulations
? Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Accredited in Business Valuation credentials preferred
? High attention to detail and organizational skills
? Excellent numeracy and mental math skills
? Familiar with working with current commercial accounting systems
? Proficient with Google Docs, Google Sheet and financial reporting software (QuickBooks)
? Good written and verbal communication skills
? Must have a stable and secure internet connection, minimum of 35mbps
? Personal computer or laptop with anti-virus software, updated processor & operating system
? Headset, earphones or earbuds with clear microphone & noise cancelation
