Virtual Assistant Writer

I am looking to hire a Virtual Assistant with skills in writing, for 40 hours per Upgrade to see actual infondidates proficient in the following will be interviewed first:

1. Strong English listening skills & comprehension

2. Skill in English writing, you may be instructed to write up to 2500 words per day

3. Basic computer skills, ability to publish a blog post in WordPress, use Google Docs, download and play MP3 (audio) or MP4 (video) files

4. Trainable, easy going, and willing to try new tasks

5. Willing to ask questions when you get stuck.

I am not looking for a resume. I'd like to interview you over Slack chat, to see if you can fit into our growing team.

WORK INVOLVED: The primary task (daily) involves listening to MP3 audio (podcast episodes) and writing rough notes (into a Google Document) based on what you hear, about 200 words per 15 minutes of audio. This is NOT a word-for-word transcript. You would write important ideas and key quotes, providing timestamps, i.e. [5:40] means something interesting was said at 5 minutes and 40 seconds of the audio recording.

The secondary task (a few times per week) involves writing instructional articles/text based on a prompt/question. For example, I may ask you to write 400 words answering "How do I start with intermittent fasting?" including research.

I can show you samples of the expected work input & output in our Slack interview.

WORK OUTPUT: I expect a 400 word article to take 1-2 hours and 1 hours of podcast notes to take 2-3 hours, including listening and writing.

HOURS & SCHEDULE: I can guarantee 40 hours work per week, as long as you agree to: 1.) "Clock in" by sending me a Slack message when you start work, and "clock out" when you end for the day. 2.) Please do not work for any other clients, even outside your 40 hours of work per week. 3.) Do not disappear if you get stuck. Please contact me and ask questions if you need help with tasks.

During our Slack chat, please tell me which "8 hour window" during the day you'd like to work. I prefer 12PM-8PM US Eastern time, but you can work any 8 hour time window you prefer, as long as it's the same set hours every day, and you clock in/out with me.

If hired full-time (40 hours/week), compensation is:

- 100 PHP per hour, guaranteed 40 hours per week = 4000 PHP/week (about 18,400/month depending on hours worked that month)

- Paid PH holidays, i.e. All Saints Day, Christmas, New Years, etc.

- 13-month pay, 12 days sick leave, 12 days vacation leave.

- Willing to discuss additional benefits in the interview. We give bonuses every 6 months and raises every 12 months.
