Junior Tech Position

Fast-growing online company is searching for help in the tech department.
Join the small but fun and extremely capable international team running the business!

Ideal person would have a background in IT and have an excellent understanding of how online technology works and great feel for technology in general.

Position would be half time for a start with a tendency to go full time during more demanding periods (like 2-3 times per year before a major launch event) or in time with the company growth.

You will primarily be supporting our main tech person, as well as helping other team members with any tech related tasks as well as various other stand-alone projects and some recurring tasks.

Those can vary from simple tasks like creating and editing PDF templates, creating sales and checkout pages up to setting up integrations between multiple online systems – like mailing system, membership software system, setting up products and payment systems, coupon codes, forms, website edits, maintenance, taking care of backups, updates etc. Basically, dealing with anything in the back-end that makes the business “run”.

Position can be demanding at times due to the nature of the business. Most of the work is templated and process driven, however sometimes projects require some creativity. Have design skills? Great! That can definitely help to pull off a quick edit project in Photoshop here and there.

Ideal candidate should have at least some experience in working with these tools:
ActiveCampaign
WordPress
Zapier
Adobe Suite (Ps, Pr, Ae, Acrobat)

It would be beneficial to have experience in:
Asana
Slack
Kajabi
SamCart
Vimeo
Libsyn

None of those are a must, more important than knowing a tool is the willingness to learn and grow and to be an important piece of a powerful team. However, you really need to have a quick analytical mind and a profound sense for technology-related problem solving.
