The Role: SMSF Accountant

We're currently looking for SMSF Accountants for our client BGL Group.

Position Purpose:
Provide world-class Support to our business partners and clients. Along with assisting BGL clients that are transitioning to BGL cloud products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Migration/Onboarding

Preparation of Tax Returns, BAS’s & Financial Statements for SMSF's at all stages, with a variety of assets.
Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to ensure customers are onboarded in an efficient manner with relevant policy and procedure.

Assisting clients that are transitioning to all BGL cloud products. Ensure that the process is seamless and a positive experience.
Work with the Client Success Team to develop internal procedures, processes and checks for onboarding and migrating clients to cloud products.

Training

Educate partners and customers across all BGL products to assist them in achieving business goals
Provide internal training to other team members as required.
Assist with the development and maintenance of all BGL Help documentation.

Support

Provide world-class Support to our business partners and clients via phone, email, and Lived Chat.
Become an expert across all BGL products and related compliance requirements.
Liaise with the Australian Support Team and the development teams to identify and resolve client support issues.
Own customer issues and escalate to appropriate channels when needed.
Represent the voice of our customers by collaborating with other BGL internal
teams when appropriate.
Utilize all the BGL Help, Such as the Knowledge Base, AI responses, Managers or Slack channel to gather information that will assist in resolving support queries.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, Business, - or equivalent
Experience in SMSF and BGL 360 preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem solving skills.
Team player.
Receptiveness to feedback and coaching with a desire to continuously improve
A natural enthusiasm for resolving problems in an ever-evolving environment
Focus to provide world class customer experience at every touch point.
