Content Writer

We are looking for a stellar content writer to join our marketing team and enrich our website with new blog posts, guides, and marketing copy.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Our company has a generous time-off package and covers health insurance premiums after 30 days of employment.

The content writer will be responsible for creating compelling new content with a brand-based consistency in style and format. This will involve doing thorough research on industry-related topics, collaborating with other team members, and meticulously proofreading articles before publication to create the best content possible. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract and engage customers, and boost brand awareness.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

-Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
-Write a clear marketing copy to promote our services and educate customers and prospects on our industry overall
-Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems (HubSpot)
-Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
-Submit work to editors for input and approval
-Coordinate with Social Media Specialist for trends, news updates, and blog article recommendations
-Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
-Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
-Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
-Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
-Update website content as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Can speak, understand, and write in perfect, fluent English
-5+ years of experience as a content writer
-Must be willing to work US business hours
-Have a portfolio of published articles
-Have experience doing complex research using multiple sources
-Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Must be creative, driven, and a self-starter
