Hello,

We are looking to hire a full-time, enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Social Media Content Creator and Community Manager to join our social media and digital marketing team.

We are a social media and digital marketing business. Our CEO Mariezain Kabba is a skilled and professional social media strategist, viral content creator, global consultant and renowned digital marketer. She has 7+ years of social media experience and has built a community of over 600,000 followers globally. Our main services are social media growth, and monetisation, Facebook Ads strategy and implementation and digital marketing. We’re currently in the process of scaling our operations and need help with our day to day operations. We’re looking for a creative thinker with good design skills, excellent communication and networking skills, good writing and research skills to help us elevate our work as our full-time, in-house social media content creator and community manager.

The successful candidate will be required to create content for our Instagram and Facebook platforms. As our social media content creator and community manager, you will regularly create original, quality content that will be posted on our Instagram and Facebook platforms.

Content includes video infographics, pictures, videos, and text images. All content created should be appealing, eye-catching, branded and high-quality resolution. We will also provide some templates that should be used to suit our branding for our current Instagram content. We are open to creative ideas and suggestions on further branding for our Facebook platform.

As our inhouse social media content creator and community manager, you will be responsible for creating original photo, graphic, text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will cohesively manage our company image to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends and news. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

***DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***

- INSTAGRAM & FACEBOOK CONTENT MARKETING

- Responsible for monitoring trending, niche Industry-specific hashtags and topics while finding unique ways to integrate them into our content plan and with our brand.

- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily on our Instagram and Facebook platforms (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)

- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences (Monthly Tasks)

- Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on our company sites, and encourages audience participation

- Responsible for tracking whether or not our social marketing efforts have been successful through goal setting through various online analytical tools. Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content

- Encourage greater social media participation

- Influence public perception through audience engagement
- Help design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals

- Monitor Instagram and Facebook traffic metrics using external reliable data tracking and insights tools.

- Work closely with the CEO and team to ensure brand consistency

- Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook ---------- cover, profile pictures)

- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

- keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences

- Analyse and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media efforts and projects



***PREFERRED EXPERIENCE***

- Strong practical knowledge of Instagram and Facebook

- Strong Graphic Design

- Content calendar creation

- Campaign management

- Experience with executing and monitor organic and paid social media strategies across Instagram and Facebook

- Know how to generate monthly reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information

- Know how to develop successful social media growth and marketing strategies and plans to build brand awareness. Plan paid advertising strategies and budgets]

- Overseeing day-to-day management of campaigns. Monitor progress using analytics

- Know how to secure new relationships across social media with influencers and contributors

- Have experience with creating a weekly system for social media posts

- Knowledgeable on applications such as google drive, dropbox, Canva, google docs, google calendar, and other content platforms to pull content from and schedule content

- Ability to pull from current content to maximize across all social media platforms to create a strategy. Review metrics to create high performing social media content



***KEY SKILLS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***

As a social media content creator and community manager on our team your key skills, roles and responsibilities in this job position will be;

- Must be enthusiastic about Instagram & Facebook

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook)

- Familiarity and experience with design either with Canva, photoshop, adobe illustrator etc (when creating posts)

- Be able to write with topics and keywords provided

- Have some experience with writing sales copy (captions that convert)

- Repurpose the content for social media

- Have/adopt a writing style that easily communicates the topic (shown in the graphic designs and the captions)

- Good creative writing and storytelling skills

- Some background in email and social media marketing is a plus

- Must be self-motivated, have great teamwork with a positive team attitude, strong communication, networking and collaboration skills

- Ables to present and propose ideas confidently, strong proofreading, excellent customer service skills, and great enthusiasm

- Has a sharp eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills

- Great professionalism and timeliness in completing tasks
