Website Designer/Developer/ Web Maser Wanted

Job Summary:

We fully expect our web development company of choice to be fully responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of the company website, while ensuring that brand continuity is maintained.

We are looking for a web designer / web developer to work on the production process of dynamic and static websites. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interior page layouts, content formatting, CSS creation, HTML files converted from Photoshop documents where applicable, design custom graphics where applicable, QA, and launch web projects within agreed to timelines and budget requirements. You must be able to create smooth transitions, create a site that loads and works quickly is search engine optimized.

We are also looking for a provider who will agree to an ongoing “Retainer” style relationship and who will agree to the approved monthly budget. These “Retainer” services will allow our company to meet the ongoing demand for Web-site creation customarily found in our industry.






Job Qualifications: Chosen Provider must meet the minimum requirements below

• 3 years of experience developing and designing rich, Dynamic and Web 2.0 media websites.
• Expert experience in ActionScript 3 or ActionScript 2
• Advanced experience in CSS and XML
• Advanced experience in Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Dreamweaver
• Expert Experience with PHP, XHTML, AJAX, and / or JavaScript
• Expert Experience with CMS – Wordpress & Joomla
• Portfolio of verifiable website development and website design work
• Strong desire to succeed, task finishers, detail oriented
• Excellent English written, verbal, and telephone skills
• High energy task master with great communication skills
• Must be results driven, proactive, self-motivated, and a team player
• Strong organizational skills and time management required
• Must demonstrate a high level of integrity
• Must sign Non-Disclosure agreement








Job Tasks, Responsibilities, and Authorities: Because the nature of our projects will vary, the following are general requirements that must be offered and available by the chosen Design provider.

• Spend half of your time on Web Design.
• Spend half of your time on Web Development.
• Lead the development process from design through completion.
• Re-design Pre-built/Pre-Paid Website and Blog Templates
• Work hands-on in the development of web applications where required (ActionScript / Flash / XML / CSS / XHTML).
• Provide technical guidance during product planning and development.
• To design Web sites and ensure that they are visually effective and easy to Navigate
• Liaising closely with Global Residual Group at the design stage to answer questions such as: why is the site needed, who is the target audience, who are the leading competitors, What is our vision, etc.
• Advising the client on the categories and information needed to construct the site
• Designing a draft site for client approval or modification where applicable
• Design sites in a Web 2.0 format enriched with SEO friendly URL structure
• Writing web pages in a combination of codes such as hypertext mark-up language (HTML), JavaScript, CSS, Flash
• Design back-end and Front End when applicable ( CSS, AJAX, MySQL)
• Build “Dynamic” sites with fully functional front end and Scalable Back end
• Testing the web sites for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
• To work on our secure-Hosted Server then upload the websites to the Internet.
• Strong understanding of Strict XHTML and CSS
• Website, Banner and Lead Capture page (mini-sites) development experience.
• Outstanding and verifiable portfolio and references when required
• Proficient in Adobe Master Collection CS3 (Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Dreamweaver etc.)
• Proficient in CMS ( Wordpress and Joomla)
• Ability to create Password protected logins for members only and Forums
• Knowledgeable in “SITE SECURITY” –(disable view source code and copying of content and images) and provide secure checkout-shopping cart where applicable
• Passion for creativity and strong desire for success is a must.
