Amazon Marketplace Operations Specialist

We have an immediate need for an experienced and self-driven Amazon Marketplace Operations expert. The primary goal for the individual in this position is to ensure that all aspects of our Amazon Marketplace program are optimized, and that our seller performance and seller ratings embody Amazon best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor pricing and manage pricing rules across the assortments in the company’s marketplace pricing optimization tool to achieve business objectives
Analyze Amazon sales and profitability using internal reporting tools
Partner cross functionally to integrate Amazon marketplace strategy with overall corporate marketing efforts and business initiatives
Continuously oversee and optimize ASIN matching to maximize assortment size and listing accuracy
Prepare weekly and monthly business performance updates, identifying trends and assortment management opportunities
Ensure that new products are routinely scheduled for addition to the Amazon assortment and launched with correct ASIN matching
Monitor Amazon customer service performance metrics and partner with Customer Service team to ensure the company maintains
Work with Merchandising to ensure that Brand exclusions and MAP pricing guidelines are met across the assortment
Partner with Merchandising in expanding the Amazon assortment to identified new business development opportunities
Ensure that the company’s listings are also optimized on Amazon Business including bulk pricing opportunities
Maintain company profile and policies in Seller Central and adjust accordingly based on internal company policy changes and updates
Monitor, respond, and react to Amazon “Shipping Performance” and “Policy Compliance” metrics in a timely manner
Work with internal partners, distributors, and manufacturers to remedy “right to sell” issues on Amazon
Monitor orders for potential problem SKU’s and work with Customer Service and IT to mitigate potential fulfillment, ASIN mismatch and/or inaccurate product description issues
Ensure that performance notifications are handled in an appropriate and timely manner
