We are a growing digital agency providing marketing services, WordPress websites, and ongoing support to businesses throughout the US and Canada. Our client accounts include both full website projects, as well as several retainer clients who require changes or additions to their existing websites.
We’re looking for a designer/developer who will be a valued member of our team. Someone who we can rely on, who understands & joins in our commitment to our clients, who will work within our established processes, and is a delight to work with.
The right candidate:
- Is a talented designer and experienced developer
- Is an excellent communicator
- Has a sense of urgency
- Has high attention to detail
- Is extremely aware of deliverables and deadlines
- Is comfortable working with a variety of unfamiliar website themes & plugins
Key responsibilities:
- Design/develop new websites based on our project criteria
- Build in the browser and on our development site(s) with the BeaverBuilder page builder & our approved plugins
- Complete a variety of support requests for clients such as replacing text, publishing blog posts, changing images, etc.
- Troubleshooting plugin, theme, and WordPress issues as quickly as possible
- Technical tasks such as migrating websites, setting up development sites, etc.
Software/online tools this role interacts with regularly:
- WordPress
- BeaverBuilder
- Beaver Themer + PowerPack & Ultimate Addons
- Advanced Plugins: WooCommerce, Member Wishlist, LearnDash
- Payment Integration: Stripe, PayPal
- TeamWork (for project & task management)
- Slack
- Google Drive
- All logins are shared via LastPass
This is a part-time position offering approximately 10 hours per week with the potential for more in the future. This role requires availability Mon-Fri, with at least half of the hours worked during US business hours. Starting pay is $10/hour.
