JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a video editor and digital marketing assistant who has experience editing videos and managing digital media for my startup company that wants to help turn nervous cyclists into confident commuters.

Work: Pay by hour about HALF TIME (20 hours) with the opportunity to go to FULL TIME as the company grows.

You are right for this if
You are experienced with major video editing software such as Adobe Premier, FinalCut or equivalent.
You have a portfolio of video work samples: previously created videos that have a “YouTube style“—informal but professional (Required)
Your skills are a blend of technical and creative marketing
Can create motion graphics with logos and titling, both technically and with an eye for professional style
You can manage a video production workflow from raw video through editing, approval, and posting to a content management system or social media channels such as instagram and YouTube

As a digital marketing assistant
You have managed online course software on a platform like Teachify or Kajabi (Kajabi preferred) or have managed web content updates via a CMS like Wordpress or Squarespace
You can create digital graphics for social media ads such as Instagram & Facebook
You have managed campaigns with Facebook Ads Manager
You are detail oriented and notice mistakes

Responsibilities will be flexible as we grow and may also include:
Building email marketing campaigns
Updating website graphics
Answering customer questions
Related virtual assistant duties as assigned

About me:
I am a former marketing professional starting my own company around my hobby of biking in Chicago. I have significant experience in creating marketing campaigns and pipelines and you will like working with me if you like executing a strategy that I put together. I enjoy eager staff who want to learn more and grow in their career, and I am willing to train as we Upgrade to see actual info is more important that someone is quick and curious and works hard than know everything. I have managed multiple teams and we have usually had a lot of fun working together. I am generally cheerful person and enjoy laugher, but I also have high standards for quality work.

What it’s like to work with me:
Weekly video meeting
We use a task management board to manage workflow, such as Trello, Asana, or Notion

Other requirements
English skills written and spoken must be strong, but excellent writing skills are not required
Reliable computer for video editing and internet access is required for all tasks

Pay & Benefits
Salary will be negotiable based on your experience level.
You can work your hours any time that works best for you. We will set a few required meeting times but otherwise your work time is flexible
Flexible time off. Family time or holidays can always be worked out. Opportunity to start earning paid time off after 90 days working for me.
If we successfully grow customers, I will reward with pay bonuses
20 hours per week initially, with the opportunity to grow to more work as the company grows.
