SHOPIFY VIRTUAL ASSISTANT/E-COMMERCE MANAGER

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A personable and highly motivated individual who has a keen interest in luxury goods, fashion, jewelry, furniture, and home interiors or is able to understand these industries quickly.
You must possess the desire to grow alongside our brand and deliver results.
You must have an expert understanding of e-commerce UX (we use Shopify) and an intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment. As we are looking to hire someone immediately in the run up to Black Friday and the Holiday Season, experience in Shopify is ESSENTIAL.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
1) Website Inventory & Product Management
- Quickly and efficiently learn, organise, and update product information to our online store(s) from our suppliers
- Our supplier feeds may be manual, EDI, API, CSV etc - must be comfortable gathering the product information from any of these given forms and input to our online store(s) using Shopify
- SEO optimised product titles and descriptions (should differ from our suppliers and competitors)
- Assigning accurate product type, categories, collections, product tags
- Product pricing management
- Ensuring stock reflects real-time stock held in inventory as much as possible
- Carefully manage and promote pre-order and custom made-to-order products
- Create and update individual brand pages
- Manage product filtering
- Ensuring high quality product images are available
- Ensuring each product has relevant product information easily accessible by the customer via the product tabs using metafields (i.e. delivery information, dimensions and material, product care, vendor product notes)
2) Order Processing & Logistics
- Manage and submit purchase orders to vendors/brands
- Manage and coordinate logistics (B2B, B2C) with third party logistics and shipping companies worldwide to minimise risk, ensure swiftness in delivery and customer satisfaction, ensure our high standards of quality and protective packaging and delivery are met
- Monitor and control supplier deliveries
- Managing supplier invoices and payments
- Processing orders and refunds
3) Confident Communicator (Verbal & Written)
- Be able to speak authoritatively about our company, the brands and suppliers we work with, and our product offering on a very high level.
- Liaise with our suppliers, vendors, customers, and any other third parties via
- Extreme attention to detail in all work and communication is key.
4) Shopify Store Management & Back-End Management
- Updating and maintaining website pages (promotions, care guides, etc.) and ensuring smooth operation of our online store(s)
- Confident dealing with taxes, shipping, domains & sub-domains
- Experienced with Shopify to be able to make necessary changes to website and troubleshoot any issues (i.e. operational)
- Familiar with HTML/CSS/Shopify Liquid/Metafields
- Familiarity with Google Analytics,
- Confident in creating and following Standard Operating Procedures and other similar operating documents and procedures
- Manage and grow key metrics such as AOV, conversion rates, customer lists
- Self-manage tasks and achieve KPIs
5) Thorough grasp of SEO & Keyword strategies.
6) Proficient in using Google Software Suite, Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, Google Chrome etc.
7) Reliable and fast internet and good working computer (we understand that internet connectivity may be an issue at times - we request that you provide an example continuity plan in your application).
8) Must be able to work 40 hours a week full-time. This is not a role that can be done on a part-time basis or while managing other roles at the same time.
POSITIVE TRAITS/SKILLS BUT NOT REQUIRED
1) Experience working with stores making 20k+ monthly sales
2) A genuine interest and/or background in fashion, interior design, furniture, and luxury goods
3) Ability to work well with other members of the team to achieve deliverables.
4) Experience with handling customer service concerns and tickets
BENEFITS & PERKS
1) Long-term and salaried full time position. While we expect a 40 hr work week, your work hours are flexible - we do not expect you to work solely during U.K. or USA working hours if that is not feasible for you. TRAINING PROVIDED
We will work with you to get you caught up to speed quickly. We are dedicated to your success and happiness in this role and will provide additional in-house training and use of third-party training courses and certification like Google Ads. We will pay for any certifications and trainings for you.
