Virtual assistant / Researcher

We are in current need of a talented Virtual assistant that can handle product research with WordPress developing skills to work on a new startup project. Position will be part time (20-30 hours) at first and potentially fulltime (up 40 weekly hours). Compensation will be bi-weekly.

Priority Skills:
Familiar with researching products
Knowing where to go for manufacturing
Familiarity with China and USA market.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
• Time management and experience working with deadlines
• Aptitude for developing mock-ups and mood boards for presentations
• crafting clean, quality, well-documented code to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Ability to stay organized and productive while working on several projects simultaneously.
• Researching, maintaining, and constant updating of a full, in-depth understanding of all aspects of our product.
• Ability to think “out of the box” and conceptualize new ideas and drive strategy
• Experience with Drop shipping, selling on Etsy, Amazon Vendor platform and FBA is a plus.
• Ability to give and take constructive feedback and “ask” if clarity is need on any task.
• Ability to follow through on weekly checklist and submit daily recap/shift notes.

Additional skills preferred but not required:
• 1-3 Years’ experience with web development and with WordPress required
• Experience in HTML/CSS & Microsoft Excel
• Experience with at least one dynamic programming language or framework used to build websites, such as PHP, React, Node, Python, etc.
• Design visual elements for ecommerce websites, email campaigns, & advertisements including banner ads, landing pages and other content.
