JOB OVERVIEW

Due to recent expansion, we are looking for an individual to join us to focus on Social Media Management & Content Writing.

DM Media Solutions are a Web Design and Social Media Marketing agency. Our team are diverse and cover a wide range of services within these areas. We are looking for someone who is flexible and who also has a relatively broad range of skills in social media management, social media marketing, and content writing to assist us with providing a professional and high-quality service for our clients.

Person requirements:

Minimum:
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, Social Media Manager, or similar roles
• Portfolio of published articles and social media content
• Excellent knowledge of Social Media Marketing best practices across various platforms
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills in English
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Good knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Analytical and multitasking skills

Desirable/Preferred:
• BSc in Marketing, English, or related field

Roles & Responsibilities:

Content Writing:
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote products/services
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to editors for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed

Social Media Management:
• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media content strategies to align with client goals
• Set specific objectives and report on KPIs and ROI
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook ---------- cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
• Influencer outreach, identify collaboration opportunities

These are the areas where the team need the majority of help. There may be other related tasks that pop up from time to time.

We are looking for someone who is confident and can work to their own initiative. We are happy to help and provide initial training, but you should be able to work on the above tasks independently.
