JOB OVERVIEW

Hello!

We are looking for an enthusiastic worker who would like to go on a part time contract for the next 6 months. We will need someone who is keen on marking English language papers, who can work about an hour a day, any time of day, from Monday to Friday.

Please see below for more information. If you are interested, then please do send us a message! We would be happy to speak with you!

Qualifications:
You should be fluent in English
You should be proficient at writing, reading and speaking English
You should have taught English as a foreign language before and/or have studied English teaching at school.

Job Roles:
Your primary job role would involve the below. Please note that this sounds much heavier than the actual role - normally each moderator can settle into their position quite quickly!

Moderator / Client and School Liaison / Content Contributor
Part time for minimum of 1hr and 30 mins per day Monday - Friday
Salary 3,500 Philippino Pesos
Reporting to Directors Geoff Thomas and Suzie Smith
Students do not submit papers everyday, therefore I have detailed below what we would like your tasks to be on a daily basis:

Moderator:
To mark all papers submitted by our students within 24 hrs
To answer any student questions / enquiries on a daily basis
To respond to any general enquiry emails we receive through our "hello@teachteflfirst.com" email on a daily basis

Schools / Jobs Board:
To ensure all international Schools register their available TEFL teaching jobs on our website properly
To assist these Schools with uploading their photos / descriptions where necessary
To occasionally mail merge new Schools to encourage them to register their available TEFL teaching jobs with us

Blogs / Articles:
To assist our Marketing Manager Harriet Stock in the preparation of Blogs / Articles / Photographs etc all relating to the TEFL / Education industry
To assist in sourcing information for our website
To monitor some of our social media activities

Training:
Before you can officially begin marking papers, you will need to fully familiarise yourself with our Courses and Template Answers. You will also need to receive training on how all of the back end website functions work. We think it will take roughly 3 days for you to read through our Course after which we think it would be a good idea for you to arrange to speak with one of us over Skype, where we can talk you through the Marking process in person. We will also talk you through how the website works including the Jobs Board, Content Uploads and Customer Databases.

Should you decide to accept this role, we would need a firm commitment from you that will be able to dedicate around 1hr 30 mins to the job from Monday to Friday. This can be at any time.

We would like the candidate to start ASAP.

Any questions, please do get in touch!
