Copywriter

Hello!

I'm the owner of a creative agency called Oh Hello and we're a brand-building agency with clients all over the world. Our company has seen tremendous growth in the last couple of years and we're now looking for someone to write copy for our clients. This person should have experience writing landing page copy, social media copy and understands how to write content that's less technical.

We're looking for a strategic content copywriter, someone who can write complex blogs, copy for our email marketing, social media and website.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters) with a distinct tone and voice
- Ability to meet deadlines with quick turnarounds
-Learning about the target audience for the copy via research and our target personas
-Conducting thorough research and interviews to formulate ideas or support writing
-Translating marketing objectives into captivating campaigns that inspire action
-Modifying copy until the client is satisfied
-Keeping up on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
-Using SEO principles to maximize the copy’s reach
-Providing engaging copy targeted at growing our email list
-Partnering with our marketing team to designing and implementing direct email marketing copy for monthly and weekly campaigns
-Ensuring copy follows industry policies and best practices
-Proofreading emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling

QUALITIES:
- Collaboration: this role will partner with a US-based copywriter. Specifically, you will partner with our marketing team to align copy to all marketing campaign objectives and strategies. Once the copy is written, it will be submitted to a US copywriter for final tone and voice revisions.
- Research-oriented: much of the required blog content will begin with thorough research. By diving deep into our industry you will help position us as a thought leader.
- Attention to Detail: Execution and excellence in this role will be highly valued. If you don't enjoy details this isn't a fit for you!
- English: Excellent written and spoken English will be required for this role. You need to have a thorough understanding of English slang in order to capture the correct tone and voice needed for our audience.
