The Client Services Associate will support an EXPERIENCED RELATIONSHIP MANAGER. He/She will assist in insurance administration matters and the day-to-day operations of the company.
Job Scope:
• Liaise with underwriters/insurance companies/investment platforms to ensure inception of submissions*
• Maintain proper filing and documentation procedures**
• Meet realistic deadlines given for all assignments**
• Generation of quotations from different insurers** (training provided)
• Liaise with 3rd parties (insurers, banks, etc) **
• Liaise with the clients for admin follow ups
• Client servicing (Change of address, fund switching, follow up on outstanding premiums/documentation, etc)
• Read and understand information in insurance policies (training provided)
• Compilation of receipts to be typed out on excel and uploaded to Dropbox
• Creation of power point presentation slides (templates provided)
• Assist in creating systems and SOPs to reduce the time spent doing manual administrative work.
• Undertake portfolios assigned to him/her and be able to learn and pick up the relevant skills and knowledge required within a reasonable time basis
• Fill up documentation for closed cases
• Ability to assist and familiarize oneself with all areas of work the assigned superior is handling
• Provide good customer service to external and internal customers
• Call clients to fix appointments (script given) or ask for lapsed payments
Requirements:
• University/College graduate of a reputable school. Undergraduates will be considered depending on his/her work experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Has knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and/or Foxit
• Preferably with experience in insurance and/or investments. Ex-bankers/insurance agents are highly recommended to apply.
• Excellent communication skills with a certain level of assertiveness to confirm appointments over the phone**
• Strong client servicing skills and the ability to deal with complex issues**
• Positive learning attitude with excellent interpersonal skills**
• A strong team player with a high level of initiative with a sustainable and continuous desire and effort to tackle and break through difficult tasks in order to finish work**
• Highly driven, self-motivated and independent
• Willing to learn and have flexible timing
• Ability to build rapport and establish relationship with people at all levels
