Prepress Designer

Sticker it is growing exponentially, providing thousands of people worldwide with the most beautiful custom stickers. As we continue to grow we want to give our customers next-level service and speed in their orders, this requires their stickers to be digitally proofed within minutes of ordering rather than hours.

We are looking for the very best Prepress Designers whose mission is to ensure rapid proofing turnaround times on all designs ensuring the orders are error-free and production-ready. This role will give the successful applicant a wide range of day to day variation and the strong possibility of rapid progression into further design work for our parent company Kartdavid, a world leader in motorsport graphics.


What you’ll be doing
- Creating design proofs from artwork, along with adding cut lines
- Creating print-ready artwork that is clear to understand and action by the production team
- Executing necessary steps to fix errors seen between original design and file exported for print
- Documenting the issues and corrections made
- Ensuring clean and manageable document management of design and print files as you create them
- Maintaining accuracy in checking and sending error-free designs for production
- Furthering your design expertise by assisting with Kartdavid online orders and transferring designs to new templates.


What you’ll need
- Are highly proficient in industry standard design software and other applicable programs, ideally CorelDraw
- Can work on a 24/7 shifting schedule
- Love the technical side of design
- Have strong attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and contribute to creating new workflows
- Have the ability to prepare projects for print is essential
- Strong project management skills, organisational skills, and time-management skills
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with the team and help with escalating issues senior designers
- A computer with good internet speed connection, minimum of 10 Mbps
- Proficient knowledge of prepress and printing standards
- Proficient knowledge of CMYK, RGB, colour modes, conversion
- Organizational skills, adaptability, and composure under fire are equally important
